Have you heard of Alex's Lemonade Stand?

I used to be in her Girl Scout troop, actually. I used to go to her school and I also live in her neighborhood! My former school always has the original stand. I was wondering how many people knew about it.

I think they featured it on one of the morning news programs about what a great idea it was and how it was started by a young girl. It being an example of what one person can do to make a difference in the lives of others.

I DO know about it.  Afleet Alex, the horse, was named after her, wasn't he? (I'm not supposed to be asking a question here!)  Good for them, keeping the stand open!!
