  1. I've been near it and it looks a really awesome area. I never new it was heaps cheap there, but that's awesome. I went in that area last year for a holiday. Melbourne's the best!!!! :]

  2. Victoria Canada?.

i been there a million times..

and never have i heard of that...

  3. no offense to people who live around those areas but usually it is quite rough there. i suggest that you do your research if ur interested in a house there. a good place to look would be local schools (even in you don't have children) because they show you what the kids/teachers are like..and usually a part of the parent reflects in the kid and you can tell how there upbringing was like...

  4. You really need to ask yourself a question.

"Is there a reason are the houses so cheap?"

Personally, I wouldn't live there. Let's just say, it's not an address you'd boast about to your friends.

  5. My kids used to have to travel to 'The Pines' to do the district swim sports and driving through there is an experience.  You always hope that your car is still there when you go back to it.

The area certainly has a reputation and you could keep the cheap houses as I would rather live in a tent in a better area

  6. I live in carrum, which is about 10 mins away from frankston north, its also known as "the pines".. but yeh man houses are really cheap that way but its quite a rough neighbourhood and bit scary at times. i know a few people who live there who havn't had any problems but yeh i guess u just have to drive down there and check it out for urself so u know for sure.

  7. I've never been to Frankston, but you gotta ask yourself why everyone's having a go at Frankston.

  8. there is a reason house prices are cheap there - apart from the fact it gets called franga for short - it is one of the scariest places i have been in vic, had to lock the car doors as i drove past the burnt out car carcases and barking pit-bulls
