  1. Back in Jean Dixon's day more people were non-believers in the pschic abilities of others.  That she had a weekly page in one of the "rags"  The Enquirer, or one of those type, did not help her crdibility.  I personally have read over 10 of Sylvia Browne's books and have watched her on Montel Show many times.  I think she is a marvelous, caring person.

  2. I did not even new it was a woman

  3. I read a lot of Jeanne Dixon material when she became famous for her consultations with John Kennedy and Jacquiline in the White House.  She was a name for decades in the prediction business.  [Might still be for all I know].

I never considered her particularly believable.  I'd put her running about dead even with Sylvia Browne.

  4. Yes, but I like Edgar Cayce much better.

  5. yes I have heard of Jean Dixon.  She had a column that was syndicated for many years before her death.

  6. Yeah, I saw her name seemingly every time I went through the check out line. She was always on the cover of one of those rags. I never thought anybody took her seriously. As far as being more believable than Sylvia Browne, I'd lump them both together.

  7. Gene Dixon was popular in the tabloids. Every year she would make hundreds of predictions, many outrageous, that never came to pass, but the next year she would be back with another round. She was a total fake. She would have been nothing without the tabloids.

  8. Yes I have heard of her.

Heard her speak at a presentation when I was in college.

    She was UNIMPRESSIVE.

Don't get sucked into that garbage!

  9. I remember her.You can guess what I think of her. Here's 2 links.Read them both and decide for yourself.

  10. Jean Dixon is much more believable than Sylvia Brown.  Sylvia Brown made a fool of herself on national TV when she said that that kidnapped boy was dead and then he turned up alive but sexually abused.

Jean Dixon told JFK he was going to be assassinated.

  11. I think she was a fake.  She goes way back, some say that she predicted JFK's death, but others say she faked that because she only came out with the prediction after he was shot.  Its had to say but she always came across as a nut job to me.  Sylvia seems less goofy.

  12. She was a popular psychic in the '70's and 80's.

Both President Regan and his wife Nancy would use Ms. Dixon's "help" in running the White House efficiently.

Needless to say, they got a lot of grief from the public and congress because of it.

Not sure what has happened to her after the President left office, unless she's still making "predictions" for the National Enquirer.

  13. Jeanne Dixon...haven't heard that name in a long time.  She was the psychic to the stars, according to the National Enquirer.

Believable?...She was the psychic to the stars, according to the National Enquirer...'nuff said.    ROFL!

  14. DONT know either of them.

  15. heard of her, yes, and her extrodinarily large amount of correct predictions.

However, I will give you her certified formula for making a correct prediction right here, and you will see the trick.

Lets say she was going to predict the presidential candidate who would win.

She tells the National Enquirer that Hillary will win. She tells the Boston Post that Obama will win. She then says in the Chicago Tribune that McCain will win.... etc...... you get the picture.

Afterwards, she pulls out the newspaper with the correct prediction. The other predictions are swept under the rug because nobody really paid attention in the first place. However, after the fact, there is proof that she is psychic, especially if something unexpected happens and the polls are way off.

Are you getting the picture. If you become famous and get columns in several newspapers, you can be the best psychic in the world with hundreds of correct predictions in print. And nobody questions the thousands of wrong predictions.

  16. Knew of Jean Dixon years ago.  I think anyone is more believable than Sylvia Browne.

  17. I havent heard of Jean Dixon, but I am almost sure Sylvia Browne is a charlatan.

www.stopsylviabrowne.com has a lot of good articles and evidence.

  18. Yes, I have heard of Jean Dixon. I have provided a link below for those who have not.

Like Sylvia Browne I don't believe that she was ever studied (or all of her predictions or readings) in a scientific manner so it is impossible to draw a conclusion about her abilities.

I find her no more or less believable because there is no basis for that choice other than personal opinion.
