Have you heard of a Monk,s cap plant and are they a good plant?

monks plant is not in my book of older type plants but monkshood is would they be he same type of plant thanks

A quick search for it brought up a bunch of garden plant catalogs.

It seems to be the same thing as Monk's Hood.

It is Aconitum, and the name Monk's Cap seems to just be a popular variant of the old common name Monk's Hood

No I've heard of Monks Pepper Tree, or Chaste; but no monks cap.
