Have you heard of a place called liberty city, in Miami ?

i heard that its very poor and has alot of crime, and theres projects and ghetto, and its a very gangsta place,

does alot of crime happen there ?

do any white people live there ?

is it as bad as bronx or compton?

or brooklyn , philly or new york ?

please help

According to Wikipedia "Liberty City"s the common name for the area west of I-95 & east of 27th Avenue; Stretching north of 41st St; to 79th St.  In fact it stretches further north & west.  It is 95% African -American or African -  West Indian & is a typical American urban ghetto with all the usual economic problems & social pathologies common to the others.

Liberty City is an EXTREMELY dangerous place to be if you're not FROM there. It's in North central Miami, adjacent to Overtown (where the Miami Arena is).

If your from Miami you would know what Liberty City has/or has not to offer!

But for the h**l of it I will place my opinion! For starters I am not from Liberty City, but I know a lot of people in that area. Not everyone who lives in this area are crackheads, drug dealers or gang bangers! Now it is what it is and it is the hood! I have yet to see any caucasians making the hood their home sweet home, but I have seen the whites who try to "be down" in the area!

Brooklyn, Bronx.....compared the Liberty City is pretty much the same.....I was born in NYC so I know this too!

Now again if you from Miami you would already know how the City handles life!

So for those who want to talk down on the City, why don't you try and help the City. Those residents have to live too and not everyone is a drug dealer!

Liberty City is a depressed area that many poor people live in.  There was a rehab program years ago, but it really didn't do much good.  Yes, there is crime and unless you have a really excellent reason to go there, don't.  

You can do a google search on crime in Liberty City, FL and come up with all the info you need.  But, why would you even care?

It exists and is extremely ghetto and dangerous.  You will be lucky to find any white people, but you find and abundance of crackheads, drug dealers and whores.  There are some normal lower income families, but you wont see them because they are hiding in their homes with metal bars around all windows.  I think this was on of the main locations of serious riots a few decades back.  What you've have heard is true.
