Have you heard of a restraunt that does not pay it waiter and watiresses....?

because it is very high end and the tipping is so good that people wait in line for an opportunity to work there. I think I saw this restraunt on the food network

many chinese restuarants dont pay their illegal workers anything so they get only tips

Many, many restaurants don't pay their waiters or waitresses anything but the obligatory minimum (plus whatever they make in tips). I think the minimum for waiters/waitresses who  receive tips is $2.10 / hour. (Isn't that crummy!?!?)

I waitressed (VERY briefly!) at a restaurant tht only paid me $1.88/hour. You had to depend on tips. I had the 2pm-7pm shift and there were never more than 2 or 3 customers the entire shift....Wonder why it didn't last long???

hmmm...i never heard about that, but id heard about the restaurant that has no waitress,waiters,and even cashiers

the name of that restaurant is honesty restaurant its only found in the Philippines.you will just drop your payment at the box and get your ready to eat foods.Foods are already cooked and putted on the table.Its up to you if you will pay or not.

In most of the US, employees who get tipped still have to be paid 60% of the regular minimum wage by their employer.  Washington is the only state where employers have to pay everyone minimum wage whether they recieve tips or not.
