  1. Whoa, thats wierd. I looked at the Dogs and Is It For You sections. That is very stressfull for the dogs!

  2. I think that's just stupid.  Something could happen to the dog during that time.

  3. I think it's weird! I wouldn't be able to "share" my dogs with anyone. They belong at home with me. I would think it would be confusing for the dog...it's very unstable.

  4. I don't think that the dogs would like living like that.  They need a sense of grounding, instead of being tossed around like a rubber ball.  A small hand full my like it but the majority would develop a sense of insecurity & become a problem.

I don't think it is a good idea.

  5. Uhh no. thats weird.

    your suppose to own one.

  6. That is so stupid. Poor dogs. Changing locations every day and going everywhere. Flexpets should be sued. (lol about being sued)

  7. That is just kind of stupid in my opinion. I mean, why would you BORROW a dog like that, like it is some kind of product??? I wouldn't want to put a dog through that kind of stress, bouncing from home to home.

  8. I have to admit, their ambitions seem well organized, but it's absurd.

Dogs are living beings - not cars or play things. In my opinion, to "rent out" a pet would only encourage individuals to see an animal as a meaningless, worthless object. I can only imagine the amount of stress it'd cause for the dog while being tossed from one home to the next, with different people, sounds, smells and surroundings.

Many people want a pet but cannot have one. Many couples want a child, but for some reason they are unable to conceive or afford a child. Should we start renting out our kids too?

  9. odd!

  10. oh my god

    wth? that's...dumb-to say the least

why anyone would want to do that is beyond me.

and where do they state the point in this?

dogs are NOT to be 'rented'

would you 'rent' a child?? NO-unless you have shady reasons. and in that case. I would never EVER trust that person with a dog OR child!

  11. I have and its mainly for people that dont have time to care for a dog but when they do, they rent dogs. it is silly because dogs get attached to humans and vise versa, it would be a mental problem for both parties involved.

And for people to come on here and say rude coments, maybe you should research before ou type cause you are the ones that look dumb in the end!!!!

  12. uh NO!

  13. I would not do that if I were you.

    I would foster.

  14. I have heard of something like that awhile ago.  I don't think it is that bad just because there are so many shelter dogs that don't have homes because the owners didn't know what they were getting into.  If people were allowed to take care of a dog for a little while they might start to understand how much work different breeds can be and also if the dog will be happy in that particular home(enough room, compatible with all family members, etc).  Also dogs should be well socialized anyway so by having dogs go with different people often they will probably be a more confident dog.  I don't think that people should just rent a dog just because they want a dog for the day though.

  15. I think it's crazy.

If you don't have the time to care for a dog full time foster. Aside from the dog care supplies it's free and it saves a life. Seriously, paying to borrow a dog... They are living, breathing creatures, not a car or a condo or something. And it puts a dog through a LOT of stress being punted from home to home.
