Have you heard of the band, Secondhand Serenade before?

Well actually, Secondhand Serenade is not a band. It's a music project by a man named John Vesely. His work is a compilation of love songs written to serenade his wife with.

The reason his music is called Secondhand Serenade is because if you are listening to his music on a cd or watching him perform his songs, you are hearing them secondhand. Because that was not what they were originally intended for.

His first cd, Awake is all him. Every note, every lyric. He accomplished the fullness of his sound by multitracking his voice in the recording studio.

He has only released one video, vulnerable. The other two youtube clips are from fans who wanted to put his music out there.

It's good stuff. Try it!

Let me know what u think :)

  6. I listened to Vulnerable way before it came out. And when he was on MTV, he was talking about how he replies to his messages on myspace because he likes making things more 'personal.' I didn't believe it so I sent him a message just for fun, and indeed the guy messaged back.
