Have you heard of the new air scooter 2?

its amazing it showed a video of it flying and it will be here for everybody next year and it costs 50k and soo ni never heard these words ever come out of my mouth but ill have 2 that much money so im getting one how bout all

It's a one seater. Ultralight, no license required in the US, but training will be an issue.

They have a 2004 article saying it would be available that year!

In making this machine, they have 3 major developments on the same machine. First, developing a new engine. This typically costs more and takes longer than planned. Second, they are designing a new chopper. Same issue, and you can't debug the machine until the motor works. The chopper has a new control system, totally different from conventional systems. Really big same issue! You can't debug the control system until the machine works.

Once the machine is finally developed, you still need money and time to get a production line and sales network going. Most machines doing all this development  never make it to market.

The machine looks well designed, with most of it claimed to be simple and inexpensive, which is the best way to go. I wish them the best, hope they can pull it off, it will be a heck of a machine!
