Have you heard that United will be extending Old Trafford?

Ive heard that David Gill gave an interview saying that United where extending OT by building up the other 2 corners bringing the capacity up to 82,000.

they were going to do that since building the new tiers, it should begin the end of this season if all goes to plan.

Yeah i heard this too, good idea if they really do it, but i talked with some fans and they thought it was a bad idea cus the only way to expand was to add another tier and that might block enough sunlight from reaching the grass, don't know how true this is though...

I didn't hear that but hey I'm sure it would be very welcome! I mean if OT is constantly sold out week in week out why not expand! Those seats wouldn't go to waste and it would give the true and loyal supporters a better chance of getting tickets as opposed to those shameful glory hunting fans!

they have too,arsenal generate more money than utd does from their stadium in order for utd to maintain their kudos as the richest club they have to have more seats whereas arsenal can afford to charge more.

I haven't seen that interview but i saw one with Sir Alex the other week and he said that he has been pushing David Gill for another expansion so maybe its true!

Yes there fitting loud speakers and ghetto blasters to each seat to try make the fans make some noise and atmosphere
