Have you heard the saying "a bit on the drag"?

"Im a bit on the drag" - Im running late

Im from east anglia and have always thought this was a common saying tho i have now moved up north and always get blank looks when i say it.

Do you use it? do you know where it isnt used?

in the north it is, A bit of a drag "IE" i don't want to do this or that its boring, a drag i can't be bothered

Speaking from down south (Bristol), I've never heard it and no-one I know has ever used that phrase.

A bit of a drag (ie. Tiresome) maybe, but not "a bit on the drag.

And never heard it refered to on the Hunt either,

Perhaps its something to do with male on male transvestite fun, Can ask Barrington at the Club if you want ?
