Parts of it on day hikes starting at Springer Mountain.  

I don't keep track, I just enjoy the day and the hike!

Through New York and parts of Pennsylvania. It's a lovely thing. Someday I hope to go all the way along it... if I'm not to old and decrepit at the point when I have enough free time.

Most of Maine, parts of NH and all of Georgia.   Never too old to try it.   My father got 1/3 of the way north before he had to get off for a family emergency and he was 78 then.

no but i drive them to town [marion VA] when they come off the trale near my house..i tell um jump in the back of my pickup

I have done most of the Maine,  New Hampshire and Vermont sections.  I don't know how many total miles I've done.   I can get to the trail from my house by hiking old skidder tracks and other unmarked trails. .

No i'm sorry i have'nt but i have been in the caves in puerto rico wherevyou step on [i forget what you call it] BAT ****. Im afaried of heights also when you go deep and your inclosed.. What does this have to do with bug bites. iv never got bitten by a bat .Plus to be honest when i found out it was bat s--t  all 270 ran out like 120lbs. Idon't think there is a stick for bat bites.
