I'm closer than close with my mum, we just never hug really. I'm not a 'hugging' person. She knows I love her anyway. :)

its been years since ive hugged my mom. and the other way around. i dont even ever see her cause she work every day from 6in the morning to 9 at night, then when she gets home, she goes to bed. but ima hug my kids alot[when i have them]

I get hugged by my mom.

My dad isn't really one for showing affection.

Most of his affection is a pat on the shoulder, saying "You did good, kid" or something like that.

He tells me he loves me, he just doesn't show physical affection well.

But I do love hugs.

More people should give them.

I try with my eldest son but he doesn't like it but I do tell him I love him everyday whether he likes it or not, my daughter it's not a problem she's very loving and welcomes a hug so I do with her everyday.

I hug my 13 year old son when he wants a hug or I just offer a hug. He doesn't like me launching myself on him like when he was little so its a case of respecting his space to be honest.He will often come in my room and sit cuddled up while we watch TV or play on our laptops and I tell him that I love him everyday too!

My mum found giving me love and hugs very difficult right up to the day she died. She could receive it but not give it out. So I maintained that I would always be a hugger lol...
