Question:

Have you left Bell Canada, yet after their 3 month wait they insist on calling you to get you back?

It has now been 2 1/2 years that I have thankfully gotten away from that horrible company. I now get basic cable, all phone services, plus free long distance, and high speed internet for $100. When I was with Bell, I had to pay nearly $200+ for all this.

Today, Bell called me again. The woman asked me what services I had now, I told her the above amount. She stuttered and actually admitted that, no, they could not match that. I said fine, now stop calling me.

Why is it that this company, after the last couple of years, insists on paying millions for employees to call previous customers, and advertising, when they won't meet or better their service costs?

Are you in the same situation as me, or would like to share a Bell experience?

  1. I pulled the plug on Telus a few months ago.  I now have cable Internet service and use various VoIP services for my home phone replacement and long distance calling.  I have new phone numbers with my VoIP providers and almost never get any telemarkting calls anymore.

Once you tell Bell Canada to stop calling you they are supposed to be bound by law to not call you anymore.  Especially if you are no longer a customer of theirs.

Otherwise, report them to the better business bureau for being annoying.

Personally, I would like to see all telemarketing in all forms outlawed - it is sooo annoying and is an invasion of privacy.
