  1. i dont have pcos but my sister does.

she was never greatly overweight by any means but she felt she needed to lose a little. and she did dtruggle. what worked for her was allowing carbs but avoiding refined carbs, and having a low sugar diet. this really has worked great for her and she has found that the insulin resistance cravings she had are far lesser now.

i think her doctor just recomemed simple calorie control whilst keeping in mine the carb thing.

  2. Yes, I've managed to lose a bit of weight over the past few weeks but that's been in part because of surgery on my foot 7 weeks ago.  I've been having to walk with a walker during this time so I've gotten quite a bit of exercise.  The other thing is that I've been watching my portion sizes more closely.

I've met other women who have been able to lose weight to help control the PCOS.  Some of them did it with a low carb diet like Sugar Busters.

  3. I will do a salivary test to check all your hormones, then give you specific diet according to what you need. Is very hard to try to loos weight when you have hormonal problems.

I don't use replacement method a use the functional endocrinology method.

    Is more specific.
