  1. The differences is the left has no morals. Democrats are still upset that republicans abolished slavery some 150 years ago that they now want to import cheap labor in the form of illegal immigrants .  These people are all about having people from a different country serve their elitist needs.

  2. Yes.

  3. Karl Rove and the RNC devised the war on terro as a tactic to use to distract the public and bring a sense of false security to benefit the Republican party. It was also a ploy to be able to increase the amount of fund appropriated to the defnse budget, even if it meant over budgeting and creating large deficits.

Recent past will show how every time an election draws near or a scandal breaks out at the White House either the terror threat level is raised or there is another tape of bin Laden or al Zawahiri. Then the Republicans start chanting "War on Terror" and "Homeland Security." Most Americans have fallen for it because they choose to deny the fact that the government would stoop so low as to use their own emotions and patriotism against them simply to gain votes or divert attention away from their short-comings.

The primary fact that Americans do not seem to realize is that the Republicans have had their finger on the war on terror for over seven years, yet the same organization that it was created to combat and destroy still thrives and we have become embroiled in so much more conflict than ever. Quite simply, for a group that touts itself on security, it hasn't done anything to instill it.

I will say that the Democrats weakness is their sense of confusion and open ended ideas. They have never been able to pin-point their agenda and stick to it. Instead they allow different party members to spew different ideas to the public creating a sense of incompetence within the party. If this party were ever able to elect strong leadership with a clear vision for them and get all of them to accept it, they would be able to fight the Republicans more effectively.

  4. Hey i majored in political science, so i'll a crack at it.

The right is ideologically driven to keep traditional methods of governing while leftist ideology sees it desirable for states to address emerging issues in politics such as human rights, the environment and globalization.

Because both ideologies are opposites, the right contends that addressing these issues are a waste of state resources; hence you will often hear "It's a waste of public spending or waste of tax dollars." And most strategists use fear-tactics to emphasize their points. This is used by both left and right.

If a particular issue concerns you, I suggest taking 30 minutes out of your day and do some  internet research in order to verify if it is worth worrying about. If it is troubling vote accordingly and remember to never buy into fear-tactics.

Good politicians get elected only because their constituents are well-informed.

  5. No, from where I sit it seems like they both try to scare everyone, but mostly with different things.

  6. No, I haven't really noticed that at all.
