  1. I have now slowed down over the past six months or so because i have got 9 points,,, all threw speeding so I must be  one of the odd few !

  2. I think it's fair to say that on motorways the general traffic flow these days is round about 80mph - the police certainly aren't going to be interested in you at that speed, as long as you are driving sensibly.

30mph areas are a different matter, though. I try very hard to stick to the limit - it's inevitable you'll drift over by 1 or 2 mph occasionally.

  3. the speed limit is outdated in the UK

  4. I end up speeding a lot.  Weather it is "going with the flow of traffic"  or on the road by myself dictates how fast i will speed but i have been known to go anywhere form 5 -25 miles over the limit

  5. I almost always do at least 5 over the posted speed limit. When I'm on the interstate I may go 10 over but it really depends on what the flow of traffic is like. I try not to speed too much because I don't want to get a speeding ticket.  : )

  6. Nope! I  always drive at or below the posted speed limit.  If you worked  in an Emergency Room you would not be so eager to drive too fast.  I have seen the results, not anything fun about it at all.

  7. I got caught doing 53 in a 30 and got 3 points to prove it.  Wouldn't reccommend it.

  8. The fastest I have had my Service Van up to was 86mph about 16 over the posted speed limit.

  9. I speed - I've been lucky. BUT I don't in 30 or 40 zones - anything above that is fair game though, particularly motorways!

  10. I am sitting in my chair, so it is hard for me to go fast.

  11. I do over ..but like most .

The ones that go under the speed limit are more likely to cause accidents. Cause everyone else want to do at least the speed limit.

  12. yep usually just keeping up with the flow of traffic ;0)

  13. Of course I have. Usually at least 5 - 10 mph hour, but have been known to go 40 - 50 mph over. Luckily I wasn't caught.

  14. Around most places, if you do the speed limit you will get ran over or ran off the road. I usually try to go with the flow of traffic which is on average 5 to 10 m.p.h. over the legal speed limit. If they say they aren't speeding, maybe they are just excessively excellerating.not

  15. I have- and I've gotten a ticket for it too. Luckily for me the judge gave me a warning and dropped the ticket.

  16. 10 + over on average

Speeders rule and poky people drool LOL

  17. I do the speed limit - And then SOME!!!!

  18. in town i actually don't speed, it saves no time.  on the highway, i speed 15-20 over, I love my valentine V1

  19. If you only do the speed limit on a Freeway it's like you are going backwards, you're the slowest thing on the road.

  20. i go around 10 mph or 20 mph over the speed limit all the time

  21. I don't consider 5 mph over to be speeding.  Most cops don't either.  I do hear about people who get pulled over for doing 70 in a 65 when they're driving a really hot car, but most of the time I think the cop who does it has a complex or something.

  22. i usually do about 15-20 mph over.

who does the speed limit anymore?

  23. Sure, who hasn't.

  24. Driving down major highways on Fridays of long weekends after work encourages a driver to speed in order to keep up with traffic.......and when passing big trucks too!

I live in Canada and I usually drive around 10 over the limit.......on major highways at least.

In town however, I really watch my speed because of photo radar, red light cameras, etc. too!

  25. Frequently.
