Have you noticed that many financial news reporters can't deliver their narrative properly?

When TV and radio financial commentators speak they seem to interject every other sentence with annoying utterances of ..."ah".

EXAMPLE: "Stocks ...ah...took ...ah ...a plunge today with ...ah...word of ...ah... impending...ah...ah..." Good grief this is annoying! Did these people not take any public speaking courses, or is it a subtle display of arrogance? Some don't exhibit this poor habit but the majority do!
