  1. someone is shouting so you turn because you want to see who is shouting

  2. Sometimes we may think that the other person is mistaken and thought us "the name he/she is calling". So, we turn around to see whether he/she is adressing to us by the wrong name.

  3. My guess would be curuosity.  Who is the man yelling the name and who is the man getting yelled at.  What do they look like, where is he etc.

  4. well, just like in normal everyday conversations, it's not what you say it's how you say it.

  5. I just want to see the idiot  that would scream in public....that is my story  and  sticking to it............................

  6. It is an involuntary  action not necessarily on hearing a name but any loud or soft sound. One tends to sense danger with any sound and to make certain that it is otherwise we go into this motion of  sighting the direction of that sound.

  7. yeah... dunno. Maybe cuz it's not normal behaviour.
