It used to get good recommendations in years past but I want to know if it is still good and worth the money? What was your experience?

  1. The Rio use to have the best seafood buffet in town.

in recent years it has dwindled down to a no flavor, waste of money.

    happy eating ;)

  2. All buffets are subject to scrutiny. Any food that is served buffet style probably wont be too fresh unless you get it as soon as they put it out. Food in warming trays tend to cool of quickly, and seafood is best when hot.

I have eaten at the Rio Seafood Buffet and did enjoy it, especially the little Langostino's. The selection of seafood and non seafood was excellent, You have to quiz the chef at each station to know what everything is.

It is the highest priced buffet in Vegas, $1 more then Wynns dinner buffet. Be prepared to stand on line, however the line did move quick when I was there.

Give it a try, unless you are picky, I believe you will enjoy it.

  3. I ate there in April if you a big seafood person you would like it.  Also it cost more money to eat there then most buffet.

  4. We went in June 08, my hubby loved it.  Its HUGE!!!  We also had a buy 1 get 1 free.. so it was definately worth the money !

  5. I have not, but this recent thread included several recent reviews of it.
