Have you or anyone you know gotten pregnant with POS (ploy cystic ovarian syndrome)?

I'm just curious cause i was diagnosed with it when i was 20 and now my fiance and i are thinking of starting a family and just wondering if anyone out there gotten pregnant or knows of some one who did. i have researched it a lot but i want to hear some personal stories to see if there is hope out there

Yes!  One of my best friends has PCOS and got pregnant!  She was told by her doctor that she'd never have kids, but when she was "sick with flu-like symptoms," she went to the doctor and WHAM!  She was pregnant!  Best wishes and good luck to you!

A friend of mine was diagnosed with POS and the doctors told her she would never have a baby, after years of trying, my friend and her husband are 20 weeks expecting their first bundle of joy!

I have it and have 2 wonderful boy's. A 3 1/2 year old and a 6 month old. It did take a while to have them 3years for the first and over 2 years with the second. So good luck to you

us pcos girls arnt likely to ovulate so ask your doc for clomid and metformin and yep you should get pregnant that's what I'm on now

After being diagnosis last year with pocs I was divested, I was ttc for a few years and it hurted my heart when I went researching about the disorder.

I went to my gyno and told him that me and my fiance really want a baby, he perscribe metformin to me, after starting the med I began to lose a few lbs I went from a 125 to a 113 I was kind of angree because I was already thin. After being on metformin my dr add clomid and on my 7 cycle of clomid and 6 month on metformin I because pregnant.

Talk to your gyno and get started on metformin right away, its a reall good miracle pill
