  1. yes but it matters the design kind and condition

  2. To be honest i tried to put a lot of clothes on ebay a few weeks ago. Everything was either brand new or in excellent condition and it is really cheap to list the items. However, although I made good money on a few items, the rest were a different story. On some if they sell for a couple of pounds, by the time you have spent your time buying all the packaging and trecking to the post office etc, it's not overly worth it unless you sell a lot of items. The items you don't sell, you are offered to relist them for free, just to let you know that I relisted all of my items only to find that you only get a "credit" if your item sells the second time around so I ended up paying twice and still have quite a few items left, eating the profits I made on the sales. Also, beware of the postage you offer, I have been selling on ebay for over 3 years but got caught out with one of my items on the postage. Before I offered two types of postage, one for 2nd class standard and one for recorded delivery. In these clothes I sold a BNWT ladies ralph lauren tailored shirt. The buyer got it at a bargain for £9.99 and chose to pay £2.95 for 2nd class postage (and chose not to take out postage insurance). She then was able to say that the item was not received even though I sent 12 items that day all by 2nd class and the other 11 arrived no problem. Because I couldn't prove delivery (by recorded) paypal refunded her money! I lost the shirt, £2.95 postage and my time for bothering. Needless to say I was fuming but I no longer offer any items that are not recorded delivery so be warned.

Don't let this put you off though, I myself purchase lots of clothes, shoes etc from ebay and did make good money on some items so with a little one on the way it still might be worth it.

    Good Luck, egfinal

No problem, congrats on the little one x

  3. In the past 2 months I have made £170 selling clothes on ebay! I put about 40 items up and sold just over half, although there's loads of unsold. Of course, those that didn't sell still cost me money to list so I made a loss!

    Good luck.

  4. I sell, and have been selling for the past 7 years.  It is a great way to make extra money.  As far as the cost of packaging the product and getting it ready you just need to add a handling charge onto your shipping charge and that will cover the cost.  And when you start your auction price out make sure it starts out at enough to cover your ebay fees and everything after that is profit.  You can do calculated shipping based on the weight of the product or you can to a flat rate, just make sure if you do it that way it is the right amount so you do not have to pay over for shipping. I would definately recommend a paypal account to get paid.  It is alot faster than waiting on a check or money order.  They charge a small fee but it is not bad, and you can even print your shipping labels and everything from paypal.  You can then transfer your money you made to your bank account or request a debit card from paypal and use your money that way.  You really can make good money if you have the right kind of clothing, and products.  Just remember to make policies on how long they have to pay and stuff like that or you may get some very bad buyers.  Good luck and I recommend it completely.  Email me if you have any questions.
