I mean have you ever been in a room where there are other people & all of a sudden by means of no tricks turned invisible.

AS IN : spontaneous invisibility.

What do you think caused it?

Are you THAT shy?

Do people ignore you so bad that's what happens ???

I want to know !

  1. Yes and yes- to both questions.

In the first instance, it happened

    after meditating with a friend

and it lasted approx 20 seconds.

    (my friend never meditated with

    me again)

    In the second instance, the

    person disappeared after starting

to meditate. They were gone for

    approximately 30 minutes or so,

    before suddenly reappearing again.

    Both were unsettling experiences

    to say the least.

  2. Other than the Republicans not seeing working class folks lose their livelihoods?

    Yes.

It's almost as if folks have a switch, that allows you to make them not see you.

It's particularly effective when I have a flat tire.

  3. They're just ignoring you.

Example: Aleister Crowley in his flophouse years would go to Piccadilly Square at the most crowlded time of day, decked out in a gawdy, wierd occult get up, thinking it made him invisble. He wore a pointed wizards hat and cape with stars, moons, planets, etc., and it was all old and worm eaten (not unlike Crowley by then). When a follower told Crowley he surley had not turned invisble, Crowley refused to believe him. His reason stated was "Then why didn't anyone speak to me then?"

It didn't occur to him (because of his enormous ego) that people don't want to talk to crazy looking weirdos.

<edit> Oh, and I'm not saying you're a crazy looking weirdo. lol! In fact, you might want to try to stand out a little more at parties.
