Have you painted your Concrete Block Wall? We have one surrounding our backyard and...?

I would like to paint it to upgrade and enhance the look of our backyard. I'm thinking a desert color since I live here in AZ. I'm also going to start planting some foilage as well, but I want to start by painting the fence (concrete block wall). Have you done this before? Are there special equipment that I should use? Or can I use a spayer for the paint? What type of paint is best for this type of work? Do other people frown on painted walls when they go to buy a home? I'm asking this question because we do plan on selling in a couple of years provided that the housing market goes back up.

Any tips/suggestions/advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

There is a paint made specifically for  concrete. No special tools. It's available in most paint stores including Home Depot etc.

they make block paint.....lowes or like.....u will want to use a thick nap roller.....or sprayer....
