Have you participate in charity donation lately?

ie to MAKNA, Kiwanis, ederly/ orphanage house, Deaf and Blind Organization, National Kidney Foundation, etc...

Or you just don't care?

Not really... but I do make donations soemtimes. Just haven't made any lately.

I wanted to start giving to the World Vision, but I have college to pay for. So all I can do is pray, and that'll help them because God can do anything!!!

I have a garden, that I give my overage to the food bank and to the old folks home.

well, i dont make donation directly,, but i never miss any running events organised for charity,, just finished Peace run last Sunday,,

and upcoming is the merdeka run,, (these are also to encourage Malaysian to get their butt off the couch)

Helping the people,, not the country.

I used to be actively donating to whatever the charity organisation but then came a few BIG cases in Singapore whereby those top people are drawing those salary (which I might have to work for the next 5-6 years to match their 1 month salary) made me realise that the little contribution from me has made the fellow enjoy life so much... call it jealousy if you have to,

I have stopped all donations until recently, when my grandpa was warded into a hospice. This hospice is generally depending on the funds supported by donors only. The government is not subsidising at all and maybe that explains why certain areas in the hospice have not been upgraded.

The nurses and doctors were friendly despite the condition of the hospice. The kind of care they provided to my grandpa was even better than a hospital. They even gave us comfort and support cos we knew that my grandpa has got less than a month to survive.

Now with those as history and things settles, I told myself that I will support, not by just giving them cash. I have checked and seems like they need some new sofa for the activity area. I will purchase the sofa and get it sent there.

I will be on the look-out for places like such and check out their surroundings to see how I can 'help', without the money.

i am an active member of lions club. we do regular medical missions and outreach programs. i allocate also some part from my salary as donation for our funds...

i do.. and that was like long-long-long time aso.. i pay RM1000 to charity (rumah bakti) and feel good about it.. actually, aku bayar nazar.. haha.. kira participate la tu kan???

Of course lah.. on the 8th July..( ehem it's my besday hehe). My office organized a blood donation event. It turns out to be successful wahaha.. the participant from PKNPk's staffs and other agencies are very overwhelming ang positive..lots of goodies, hampers given to the doners as a token of appreciation..

We have finally collected almost 70 pines of blood. last year we only get around 40 pines. so this year are far more better yeah.. hmm.. next year we planned to conduct bigger and better donation events

i went to MAKNA & Jacobs activity at Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam ... i donate some money to my cousin (anak yatim) ... and i'm a organ donor ... wait till i die lah ... someone may get my kidney, heart, skin, eye or lung ... u choose ...

Not forgotten ... come and join World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) ... really really is interesting ...

used to be active in kiwanis and pdk .. now my cousin (wif downs) all grown up already. we're happy to make our own telematches.

used to be active in makna.. both mom and dad's survived and living well now..only contribute back in terms of donation

now i'm active in only 1 - feed the homeless program. hubby goes every weekend without fail, so sometimes i follow...but the last time i followed him - got chased by a crazy dog behind puduraya huhuhu.. (iklan sat: we need contributions/volunteers ..i'll provide u the links and contacts if any of u is interested)
