Does anyone here have there own business and how did you start it off? I really wanna go into business i have many ideas and there is a market for these things where i live but it's just putting that plan into action. I would like to hear your stories on how you made it and what influenced you.

I started by saving up about 16 thousand and quitting my job. I used that money to finance the startup and used it to live on until the business started making money.

I started with a business that I knew nothing about and sat on it for three months. Then I restructured to a different industry and I now love what I do. Remember this:

Contacts are everything. Meet as many people as you can in your field.

Your worst enemy is self-doubt. You are astonishing, how dare you waste it.

I have my own home based business in which I collaborated with the largest direct selling telecommunications service provider in the world.  It's a 15 year world wide company that Donald Trump has endorsed and is highly involved in this company.  The company has been featured in several magazines on numerous occasions.  Magazines such as USA Today, Success, Fortune etc.  Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company.  They market in things that people use every day and pay for anyway.  Things such as local and long distance telephone services, Internet, digital and video phones (you see the person live as your talking to them) Satellite TV as well as all major cellular phone companies have collaborated with them as well.  Cellular phone companies such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Alltell, Nextel etc.  You save people money on services that they are already using, or help them with new services that they don't have, but want.  One way you make money in this industry is everytime these people pay their bills that you helped them with, you make a percentage every single month.

What influenced me to go into business, aside from the rising gas prices, now they're just ridiculous and I'm glad I did.is the fact that everyone around the world uses one or more of these products.  The income opportunity to having a business in this industry is just incredible.  I am able to be with my four kids and be apart of their extra curricular activities, even volunteer as a coach with my daughters cheer team now, go to my son's baseball games and be a team mom.  Things I could never do or afford for all four kids to be involved in various different activities.  How I made it in business, was learn the industry and keep at it.  Build the business and do what is necessary to succeed in building a business.  I had help from other's that were in the industry, went to different trainings to learn how a business works, and learned many different ways to build a successful business.
