I've never read an entire book out of the folds of religion. I hate reading and I had my sister read it for me, I though it was pretty funny. The book shows the side of Muslims living in non-Muslim countries but most importantly really shows what we go through. The Hijab, liking boys, that one annoying popular girl. The only difference between the girl in that book and everyone else is that she had her head cover on. It really does show that Muslim girls go through the same stage every other person does in high school. By the way, have you noticed that girl in the front cover is the same one on Muslim marriage sites? So lame.

I agree with freedom, a lot of the message was negative towards the Muslim youth.

Ya, and i disliked it,

even though the title was engaging, the rest of the book was hypocritical...and some of the messages in it were negative for muslim youth.

But that's just my opinion

I have it in my house my young niece left it..it is good book for young muslimahs between 13--19year olds.

ohhh...yeah...its great..

the base of the story is reakky good and applys for many muslimahs

yes..it is really good for non muslims as well because my non muslim freind read it once and thought it was really good so she started it again..

im sure there was another continuing book as well that i haven't read...
