the first how the U.S, and its coaches are whiners with sour grapes for complaining about the Chinese gymnasts age, and today he says its a valid issue that needs to be looked into by the FIG and IOC? Shouldn't a sports writer who writes such opinion stick to his guns or perhaps put more thought into such opinion? which is it Dan, are we whiners or does it need to be looked into?

  2. Well, if you read carefully, you would have understood what he is trying to say.

    He said " the way we complained" is at the wrong place and wrong timing.  We should have done it "strongly" before the competitions started.  Not when we "lost".  Then the second article is about the "doubts" now casted by the "media" are tainting the sports and the honor of the Host country.  So, it is a disgrace.  "They" should at least clear it up one way or another.
