Have you read The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri?

If so what is your opinions? Is this an easy or difficult read? I would like to read it but would like some opinions 1st. Thank you.

It is one of the most difficult poems to understand beyond the literal level, but it is also a truly divine masterpiece that can be life changing. It would probably be more meaningful to you if you were interested in philosophy and/or religion and/or medieval history, but it's worth a read no matter what.

Oh, I LOVE the Divine Comedy. It's not the easiest read in the world, but the story is fantastic and worth the struggle. It gets into your head. After weeks of studying The Inferno (the first part of the Divine Comedy) I found myself writing poems that stole imagery from it, without even meaning to do so!
