Have you read about the "global warming" that hit the San Diego and Palm Springs areas?

A snowstorm in San Diego county closed 27 miles of Interstate 8. The "global warming" was so bad that cars were stranded and search and rescue teams were called out. A school bus slid off of a black ice covered road. At the same time, rain, hail and snow fell in the desert near Palm Springs. I lived in So Cal before "global warming" became such a problem, and we never experienced anything like this. That's why they've grown citrus fruits in this area for 150 years.

i live in San Diego myself and i think your  just over exaggerating A LOT!!  yes there was snow but it was in the mountains of Palomar and Julian..

Interesting.  Did you know that the temperature of the earth yesterday varied by about 150 degrees f.  Seems like that would destroy the earth more than a couple degrees average increase or decrease.  But, apparently that has been occurring every day for the last few thousand years at least.  Everything proves global warming even a decrease in temps for a couple decades. The key is that man is not the cause since we are too puny to effect the weather.  I know some want to exalt the status of man beyond everything but that will not work.

no thats bs, global warming cant be` used to explain that like all the proponents say.  It just goes to show that none of the scientists know what is going on right now, there was below average weather all over the northern hemisphere for the last 3 months.  Cooler temperatures cant be caused by global warming.  Global warming heats the air, and I have never read or heard anything about global warming effecting the corialis effect, how the atmosphere gets "stirred up" by storms taking more northern directions or storms taking more southern tracks.

Recent studies suggested UV or XRAY output might effect the corialis effect, something that brings heat to the northern latitudes, and brings cold from the north to the south.

It seems to me that the "global warming" crowd has set up a bulletproof scenario, where every base is covered against any possible indication that they may be wrong.  For no matter what happens, no matter where there are record breaking cold spells or snowstorms, no matter when it has snowed in places where it never snows, they are always able to attribute it to "global warming."    They have been able to create a situation where "global warming" causes warming, cooling and everything in between.   And with this in place, it is nearly impossible for any legimate evidence to the contrary to be worthy of consideration.   In this way they are similar to fanatic biblical literalists, who have a pat answer for everything.   And this is why there is a certain smell to the claims of "global warming."   It is too pat, too unassailable, and too impervious to debate.   I think the smell is getting worse.....

San Diego is as far south as you can get in Kommiefornia and this MUST be further proof that Komrade Al "I invented the internet and also Global Warming" Gore AKA "I'm making millions of capitalistic dollars lecturing about global warming" Gore's theory is correct about global warming.  

Seems funny that the left was selling us on the FACT that we were causing the next ice age about 20 years ago.  This didn't sell!  So Komrade Gore invented his theory about global warming.  He has made MILLIONS of dollars off GW!

Isn't it ironic that Komrade Gore and his leftist horde of GW coolade fans don't mention that Komrade Gore has 3 HUGE homes and he spends around $30,000 dollars a year in energy costs for just ONE of them, plus his fleet of SUV's, a private jet and all the other ways Komrade Gores wastes energy.  Sounds like the coolade is working for his granola eating leftist followers!

I'm not sure if you are trying to be ironic, but most experts like to talk about "global climate change" because the effects of "global warming" result in warming in some areas and cooling in others.

Global warming will effect ocean currents which will impact regional climates in unpredictable ways. Strange weather (including ice storms) is a symptom. In many coastal areas, we've experienced unusually energetic storms.

You don't need to be an ecologist to know that even one degree change in the ocean's temperature is a huge amount of energy. That energy is likely to result in storm systems with unprecidented power.

yes global warming is suddenly going to result on no winter at all and there will be no ice on the planet because of it.

currently there has been about a .5-.6 degree C increase in global temps. there will still be winter. there will still be ice. there will still be snow.
