  1. The Killer angels was excellent. Great historical fiction giving realistic detail into the lives of soldiers and battles of the era.

    an overall exciting read!

  2. nope. they sound lame, and im usually good at judging a book by its cover. sorry for the cliché but really, i don`t like those kind of books, and yes i can tell by the title.

  3. October Sky was actually a really good book.

    And it wasn't that long.

  4. i've only read "little women"

    it was very good

  5. Yea i agree with the first person!!

It is a fantastic book. you'll love it.

    Its about these sisters.

It is set in the old fashion days were people wore long dresses.

  6. omg is that sad i've only read one and seen the film adaptation of another?

well i've read the killer angels, and even at that, i didn't read it thoroughly, possibly because i didn't enjoy it.

so i guess my opinion wouldn't be really valid?

i think october sky would be really good, that's the one i saw the movie of

  7. I think either novel by Howard Fast is your best bet. They are both a bit "lighter" and would make a better summer read. I would personally choose, "Freedom Road", and I think you'll enjoy it.
