Have you read the books THE FUTURE OF LIFE by Edward O. Wilson and/or WHAT EVOLUTION IS by Ernst Mayer?

Science is my weakest point so these books were kind of difficult for me to understand! What are the biological ideas for these books and how would you compare and contrast them?

Evolution is a lie... it's the theory of a billion missing links.

I read Mayr's book when it first came out, but I have not read Wilson's.  (Both men are giants in the field of biology.)

So unfortunately I don't think I can help much comparing and contrasting them.   If my books weren't all in storage right now, I'd go pull Mayr's book off the shelf and summarize it for you.
