Does it change your view of the likely events surrounding the toddler's disappearance?Do you think it makes the parents look more or less guilty?

  1. The parents look less guilty but maybe it is time this story took a bit of a back seat. I don't mean that badly but there's nothing really new in it and other children who have went missing have not even had half of the attention that the McCanns got. I wish them well and hope that one day they will truly get to the bottom of this story because they surely are suffering so badly not knowing what happened but I m slightly tired of the regurgitated news stories that are sensationalised as 'breaking news'.

  2. Nope. It makes the police look like a bunch of Inspector Clouseaus. DNA samples that fail to match, cadavar dogs sniffing doctors' scent, mistaken witnesses, etc. , yet aguidos? Take a cadavar dog near any doctor that's been to a hospital and he will probably detect a positive. All circumstantial and lost valuable time which should have been spent shifting through harder evidence. Even the British police were blamed, and maybe rightly.

  3. Those details that are actually available in English yes.

No it does not change my view in the least.

As for the McCanns' being 'vindicated of any involvement' it does not say that at all, what it does say is that the police do not have 'enough evidence to bring charges' ........ two entirely different things!

As for them no longer being suspects in the case, that again is a misnomer, .... they are no longer 'official suspects' again a big difference.

  4. Not read it - have you a link Brendan

  5. It confirms what I already thought and added to the speculation with the cadavar dogs etc.
