  1. no but i will right now

  2. No, but I guess I should write Mr. Palin a quick note.

  3. you d**n RIGHT!!! obviously the people that answered before me dont realize the sacrifices made by unions all over the country.. I'm a proud member of Ironworker's local #396 St. Louis, I guess it takes a union member or at least a family member of one to see the difference..

when people think 'union' they think of the mafia ran unions of old, and think that people that are in unions are lazy.. dont get me wrong I'm sure it is different from union to union BUT personally I have worked my *** off trying to make a living.. and for that I am rewarded quite well, solely because I'm in a union..

for those of you who don't know some of the benefits of a union are, better pay, better retirement, affordable insurance, and safer working conditions... when I started in 00' I came straight out of high school making 14.60$ hr, in 3yrs I more than doubled it, and now I'm making 30.18$ an hour.. we get contract raises every 3 years.. which usually equals a raise of around 1.50$ each year, with so much going to the union itself and so much going to our insurance and take home pay.. our total benefit package is somewhere around 36$ an hour, which includes take home pay, insurance, annuity, and union costs..

you tell me another way to make that kind of money without going to college and I'll call you a liar..

  4. Yes - I always buy American cars.  That also thanks the 450k+ Americans who died in WWII - you know, the ones that Japan teaches it's kids were Imperial Storm Troopers and that FDR "started the war to end the Depression"

  5. Labour Day is both an American and Canadian holiday.

    Yes.

  6. nope but i  should

  7. what holiday is it?

  8. I would...

but they had "Triple-Time and a Half" today, and went in...

  9. No there evil

  10. not really but i wonder if we are celebrating the day of working, how come alot of people have this day off...

  11. As a matter of fact I haven't done that.  But while you're at it you could thank them for driving the wages so damned high that it has forced hundreds and hundreds of companies to move their manufacturing process off shore, leaving prices still high , but only low paying jobs available!  Granted!  There was a time in the history of this country where the unions were needed quite badly, however they have outlived their usefulness.

  12. NO and never will.  The greed the Unions push have cost me 2 jobs in the past.  The unions have cost more jobs and brought more hate than they have helped us.  The unions are part of the reason so many companies left our country.  Their demands to the companies that own their jobs have have hurt more than helped.  I am proud to no longer be a union member after being a part of the UAW for 10 years.  I am proud to see companies with out unions are more likely to stay put and offer competitive packages.  What is the difference between the Mob and the Unions?

"for those of you who don't know some of the benefits of a union are, better pay, better retirement, affordable insurance, and safer working conditions" LIE.  The unions threaten and bully those who don't vote the way they want.  The unions attack those who do not conform to their way of thinking.  The unions have shut down more companies costing more families to go on unemployment.  The unions are just another form of Mafia style rule.  I've seen it so don't try to lie to me.  I've worked in Chicago, I've worked in Detroit, and in Southern Virginia.  Each time I witness the union destroy whatever got in it's path and turn on each other as fast as they were told to.  I owe unions no respect as they are the major cause of rising prices in everything they do.  Way to go!!

  13. what holiday?Im working as is about 75%of the rest of the US so no I didnt but thanks!

  14. no, but i'll thank them for gouging honest companies.  my personal favorite are the grocery store employees who make 50 and 60k per year, have full medical and dental, and who's only skill is remembering item codes for exotic fruits and vegetables.  you shouldve gone to college.
