  1. I've seen NIN 4 times (5th time coming up this Friday) and if I'm remembering correctly I was 15 the first time.  I think your son is old enough to go, like you said he already knows the music and lyrics... he'll just be hearing it live now... hehe.  The people I've met at NIN shows were always very nice, I've never seen anyone do anything extremely crazy or disorderly.  Though the pit can get wild, lots of moshing, crowd surfing, people falling over and stuff... just watch out for that.

And it's true, NIN always puts on amazing show... you won't be disappointed!

  2. dont do it... Lots of drugs, and crazys.. wait till he is 18

  3. Nine Inch Nails is great in concert. When I went, it wasn't too bad. It's not like going to a thrash metal concert or anything. You should definitely go with him! You will have a great time!

  4. I think I would have a heart attack if my mother ever offered to take me to a NIN concert when I was that age

but I guess as long as you are there he should be ok

  5. Bad idea

  6. I've seen NIN among other rock concerts & I would let him go.  The crowd looks very goth, but that was about it.  The only drugs you usually see at concerts is pot & I only smelled it once.  I've been to other concerts where everyone around you is toking up, so NIN wasn't bad at all.

  7. all concerts are going to have the usual smoking and what nots. if he is a responsible mature(for his age) boy, then take him and have fun!

(nin is awesome live) if you think he is easily influenced, then get a sitter and find someone else to go with.

  8. Take Him!

I'm sure theirs going to be people drinking alcohol and doing drugs, but that happens at every concert...if he's responsible you should have no worries.I seen them live earlier this month and the show was spectacular, the light show was beautiful. You won't regret taking him,the show is amazing : )

  9. I saw them fairly recently and wasn't a big fan, but Trent puts on a really good show.  At any show there is going to be the occasional idiots, but I don't think that should prevent you from taking your son.  It should be fine. =)

  10. I took my son and his friend, when they were 15, to their first concert. It was in 1997 to see Metallica and they were amazed by everything they saw!

The only bad thing about it was that I had to behave which wasn't easy!

We've been going to concerts together now for the past 11 years since nobody else I know, that is my age, likes metal anymore (old farts).

  11. Yes I've seen them in the double digits..

I've never had a problem at a NIN show and I have never seen any real heavy drug use at one either.  If he is already listening to metal then he has exposure and this won't be any different except it's on a stage, with great lights and awesome effects.  He'll remember this a long time.  Take him and have fun.
