Obama is a calculated cutthroat and he saw Hillary like Palmer a woman that he can undercut inspite of the fact that both reach out to help him and befriended him. This guy might just be a socialpath behind close doors. He will do anything to get ahead and he calculates his moves and if it isn't politically expedient for him he will vote present. We are dealing with a crafty man. I am sorry that i gave Axelrod too much credit. This man is really the menace. Watch the show and see how he deliberately went after young people's minds to take down Hillary's established vote base and how in the White House he may turn Rebulican to be a popular President in the History books. He married Michelle because that would give him a stepping stone and now he is at the pennacle of his reach -- History is what he after not the people. He is crafty and calculating. But at the end of the day, he is an illegitmate son (Conceive before marriage); fatherless man and his only real neighborhood is in his head.

I am not a REpublican and I will not vote for a Republican but Mc Cain looks like a choir boy to Obama pasts. I now understand how he was willing to throw Wright under the bus, Hillary out to pasture and anything in his wake will be victimized. The speech on the War was calculated to give him national attention to get a platform at the Party and he won. But I think that McCAin is a better man and probably suited more for Presidency than Obama. Looked at the special and then respond to this inquiry first.

Talking about marrying people to act like stepping stones, McCain dumped his crippled wife and married a rich beer heiress just for the money and power it afforded him. He also threw veterans and woman under the bus with his legislation, using his status as a veteran himself to deflect criticism.

But let us say both are manipulative people, let us examine how they manipulate the system more by how they gamble. Obama plays poker and gains valuable allies doing so. He rarely bluffs and plays the odds right, often coming home with significant winnings. He also has saved quite a bit of money and is financially conservative in his spending habits.

McCain plays craps. He puts down thousands of dollar down and plays big, often being the center of attention. He doesn't care so much if he wins or loses, but enjoys the adrenaline rush of risk involved. He also has serious credit card debts over 100,000 dollars.

So let us admit they are both machiavellian, ambitious men. Who would you rather have as president, a 'maveric' type A personality who shots from the hip and always need to be in the spotlight, or a calculating man who plans everything out and takes risks only when it is in his favor to do so, carefully analyzing his opponents and the game for maximum advantage?

I'll go with the second choice, Barack Obama, myself.

What bothers me about McCain is he still is that Vietnam era hawk...

We have had several congressional hearings along with Watergate that told us that the Vietnam era corruption brought to light proved that the anti-war protesters were on the right side.  That show fails to properly portray McCain as the calculating creep he really is.  It doesn't talk of him dumping the wife who stood by him.  It doesn't talk of the scandals he created and endured.

I think he has self esteem issues about his masculinity and may hate women because his mother abandoned him.  He seems to enjoy destroying powerful women.

I think he married Michelle and will eventually destroy her as well.
