Have you seen Stephen King's "it"? Were you not scared for years to come after seeing it? If you weren't YOU ROCK!

I was so permanently damaged after watching that movie...I was like 6, 7 or 8. It has definately been a long while since i first it and I was wondering if you guys think watching it again (while Im older and dont get frigtnened by horror movies anymore) will help me to get over my fear of:

1. the movie

and

2. Clowns

Also, I was even more afraid because I thought he personally just hated kids, so I thought 'since I'm a kid, he's coming for me'. But I never watched the last 20 or 30 minutes of it and I'm wondering if he came back at the end to get them as adults? (that's what I remembered)

  1. yeah i have seen it a few times, but i first seen it when i was about five, and for  few days after i was a bit scared when going to bed, but i got over it in a few days, then i seen it a few years ago and couldnt believe i was even slightly scared!!!

  2. I was like 8 when i saw it and it scared the **** out of me and i rented it last year at 15 thinking it was scary but it was not and the Clown just looked high. The Blue man Group are much Scary'er the was they hit the Drums and it looks like they are cover with blood and you know that there messed up because they paint there whole bodys blue.

  3. My fear of clowns originated with that very same movie! Trust me... watching it now you will see how "un-movie-like" it is. It was done as a TV movie so the quality is not really there. Plus the acting is a little weak now that I can realize it. If it helps just remember that the clown is played by the same guy who plays Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Hope this helps.

  4. It didnt scare me, but I will admit, the book really did, and I was never afraid of clowns. By watching it, it will probably help you out. The performances were laughable at times and if you arent easily scared anymore, I think you may just laugh at the fact that it did scare you at one point.

In the last bit, they do end up killing Pennywise. They rip his heart out when he is in a spider form.
