Have you seen a solar car? They look like a space ship?

I was going to Moskogee Oklahoma and I saw this little space ship traveling down the highway. I had to do a double take.

It looked like a giant plate. Has anyone else seen one of them? Tried to get a picture but it went by to fast.

Actually we saw three of them that day.

Actually they have a battery that goes for a long way after it gets dark.  I think it was all night, they can go prepetually in areas like the middle east or South Western states, California.  They have an air cooled engine that needs no water, oil or anything to keep them going but a few days of sunshine.  I would think in town to go to the store or shopping?

They would be great, we need to slow down anyway.

They seemed to be zipping along with the traffic when we saw them.  They are using them in Australia, where they have lot's of sunshine.

they look like they would be fun to drive.

Not too good on a rainy day or after dark  :)
