Have you seen small kids aged between 4 to 6 doing plus minus multiplication without the help of paper pencil?

  1. hi,i am 10 and my friend can even do 12* times tables i can do my 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 but i cant do 11's or 12,my friend is clever and my other friend know's every thing about astro fizecise, that all i know


  2. Yes, my 5 year old son actually does math better in his head than on paper. My 10 year old daughter is the same way, but she doesn't fall into the age group you specified. I just assumed it was different learning styles though. My other 10 year old daughter works better with pencil & paper (they are twins). Also, if it matters any to your research, the 2 children that are better with mental math are also left handed, and the paper & pencil child is right handed. My husband is better with mental math, and I am better with pencil and paper (but we are both right handed, although my father in law is left handed).

  3. i'v seen this l'il 10yr old on tv who has a whole math lab!he is even d author af several math bks for kids his age. he cud orally multiply upto 4 digit nos. so u can imagine wat he cud do by d age of 6

  4. i am sorry.i have seen little children reciting lengthy verses without reading from the text book but haven't come across any who can solve maths questions without the use of paper and pencil.really sorry but you are doing  a good job.keep it up.
