Have you seen the cartoon network show "total drama island"?

if you or your kids watch it, tell me if you agree with me:

i think that it is shockingly inapropriate to be featured on what i thought was a channel for children to watch safely. i was quite thrown back when i witnessed my 2 youner sisterd, aged 8 and 10, watching a show they said was called "total drama island". Not only are many of the characters drawn with very short skirts and major cleavage, but they had a quite vulgar scene with a female and male character tied together in a bathroom stall fiercely making out. If that isn't enough, one of the characters zoomed in, with binoculaurs, at another characters butt, oohing and ahing about it. if you are not already shocked, let me tell you about another part, where even the closed captioning didn't write the dialogue: one of the characters, a child character no less, shouted without hesitation, the exclamation: "Oh c**p". I highly disagree with a program such as this being on a children's channel (cartoon network)!!!. do you agree?

Cartoon Network has some really good shows in the morning but when its the afternoon to the evening, the shows get pretty bad. I suggest your siblings only watch Cartoon Network in the morning and not in the afternoon or in the evening. That's how it works for my little brother.

A lot of the shows on Cartoon Network are fairly inappropriate.  I don't mind most for my kids. But that show does seem pretty bad. My wife is more against the channel than I am. But we both don't like Total Drama Island.

I didn't like that show in the first place. I agree with you. Shows how much the media has affected everything...

Most of the cartoons nowadays are aiming for more "mature" kids it seems.

I really like Spongebob, and I was surprised to find forms of Satirical Political humor and forms of humor older people would understand.

Lol yea i was amazed by that show!  My younger sisters are 8 and 10 as well, they didnt seem to like it that much luckily.  But i have noticed cartoon netwrok has alot of not so kid friendly cartoons, my son is 5 and i often have to turn the channel, there are very few cartoons on there that he can watch.. and then of course Adult swin comes on which is waaaay bad for kids but i enjoy it lol.   But just like the cartoons that are coming out, look at the toys that have came out like Bratz which came out about the time you where what?  10 ish?  Those dolls amaze me!!  Im so glad my little sisters like my little pet shop and stuff like that lol

I dont let my kids watch a lot of what is on that channel... such as chowder and total drama island, etc.

I have to see what is on before they are allowed to watch it.  They can watch Transformers, Ben 10, etc.

They MUST ask before and if they dont then they have to turn it off... I cant believe how much c**p is on that channel!!!
