  5. ??????????????????????????????

  7. Yea,  I've been saving money to be in a position to buy that special corn flake.

  8. So why am I waisting me time on YA, when I could be making some serious corn flake bids on Ebay? Tell me!

  9. I am originally from there and I would not pay

that much for it.  I think it's nuts.

If you celebrate Easter, Happy Easter.

  10. Yes, it sold for $1,350.00

The guy who won the auction is Monty Kerr of Austin, Texas.  He owns a trivia Web site called TriviaMania.com, and he plans to send someone to Virginia to pick up the corn flake in person, so it won't get damaged, then he plans to add it to a traveling museum.

The girls who sold it are 15, and they plan to use the money for a family vacation.  Ebay originally cancelled the posting, because it violates their food policy, but the girls re-posted an advertisement for a COUPON redeemable for the corn flake, instead of the cereal itself.

I've seen the corn flake, and compared it to a map of Illinois, and they're not even the SAME!  They're very similar, but the bottom tip is shaped differently.  Now there's a bunch of copycat items popping up on eBay, including corn flakes shaped like Hawaii and Virginia.  There's also been a potato chip shaped like Florida, and Illinois corn flake paraphernalia, including T-shirts and buttons.  The LATEST one I've seen, is a corn flake which is shaped like a poor excuse for the Easter bunny.  Someone will probably buy it though...  TODAY, in fact.

    Happy Easter.
