Isn’t it nice that China gets the honor of hosting the Olympics? Shouldn't it be a privilege rather than a right? And shouldn’t it be a privilege to host them only after they clean up the air?

I've seen pictures, and I have been to Beijing numerous times.

It is ridiculously polluted and there is no blue sky and clouds whatsoever, just a constant smoggy grey sky.

Currently, the Chinese authorities have stopped ALL of the factories' productions, so now there is actually bluish sky. They are doing many things to clear up the sky in the last minute rush to prop up a clean image for the visitors. Hah.
