Have you seen the play Wicked?

Question

I did, I thought that it was great. I just wanted to know what other people thought of it. Since its a dance performance, what styles of dance do you think it is? and what are your reactions to them? also the type of speeds the dancing is (like fast upbeat, or slow.....)

I wouldn&#039;t consider Wicked a dance show.  Sure there is dancing (mostly just in the number &quot;Dancing Through Life&quot;) but I would say its more staging.  None the less, it&#039;s a great show- visually stunning.

i dont know any dance styles but i love watching those people dance on youtube.

yes! it was amazing!!!! it was mainly just theatrical dance, not an actual dance. it was mostly amazing singing! i love defying gravity! and popular is just so fun!

Yes. Three times. It never gets old!

The use of dance is very clever. Outside of &quot;Dancing Through Life&quot; it is used sparingly. Only to indicate magic, and in a Ball. And in Wonderful, depending on the cast, the Wizard gets a dance with Elphaba.

You bring up an interesting aspect I haven&#039;t thought enough about... I guess its time for a fourth trip!

the dancing is like jazz and tapp, its a really good play. and its all different speeds

well ive seen it but i dont rele no about the dancing. id say medium cause its not really fast in most parts

i want to see it BADDDDD! i think im going to go in the winter time to see it with my friend!! how was it? i heard its REALLLY good from other peopleeeeee and videos. i can&#039;t wait to see it! i also haven&#039;t been to NYC yet so its really going to be a fun time for me! i can&#039;t WAIT!
