  2. I'd be afraid to ride in it.  Not enough mass and thus, safety.

  3. I like the ZENN.  I mean, you have to keep in mind that this is a neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV).  You're not going to be taking it out on the highway or any high speed roads.  Most of the time it's limited to 25 mph by law (although there is some movement toward making it legal to allow cars like the ZENN to go 35 mph).

Basically this is meant to be a secondary car for driving around town to do errands like going to the grocery store.  For that purpose, I think the ZENN is pretty sweet.  It looks nice, has a decent amount of space, and only costs about 2-3 cents per mile to recharge.

  4. I like it, except for a few thing, one is the max speed of 25 MPH, and the other is the 40 mile range.

however it  is basically the size of my wifes Escort, with a similar sticker price,,, but has to use too much room for battery storage, which cuts down on passenger capacity.

of course it they ever do come out with the EEStor, that will change the whole situation.

With a projection of 80 MPH and 250 range on a charge, and a 10 charging time.

  5. Electric cars can be useful for short commutes, Smaller and lighter of course requires less energy. But remember it requires time to recharge.

Batters need to be maintained and are costly for high energy lithium ion batteries.

The Utility companies would love us all to convert to electric cars. Then they could be the suppliers of all our energy needs. Where are they going to get it. Build NUKES??

Natural gas costs about 70 cents for 100,000 BTU of energy.

There is 120,000 BTU of energy in a gallon of gasoline and costs about 4 dollars and rising. Look into it!!
