I'm helping to get the word out about this newest stolen horse (see flyer below) I'm also curious to how many of you visit this site too (netposse.com).

Mandy was stolen from her pasture after the fence was cut.

This beautiful black Welsh/Qrtr/Arab cross pony (14.2) belongs to a young girl who competes on her in Jumping, English and Dressage.

Large HERNIA on Right Side

Her family and friends are shocked and devastated by this horrible crime. Let the family know they have your support.

Please email, post flyers, visit auctions and help bring this mare home to her young owner.

A stolen horse could be a long distance in a short time period. Please pass this to your associations, list groups, council members, friends and ask them to do the same. Please be sure to contact the victim at the link above to show them your support. You don't know how much that means to them.

I printed it and am posting it here at the Hospital, War Memorial in Soo MI, never know they could have gotten her across.  Hope and pray you find her soon and safe:)  Best of luck let us know if she is found, located, returned or what not.  I look at the site every know and then, but should more often.

No, I have not, but we do attend lots of auctions, and will keep an eye out for this poor little horse.

this is just awful I am so sorry the little girl is having to go through this, the thief must not have a heart.

and I am with the idea of lynching also, just like the old days.

the punishment should fit the crime....

Thanks for getting the word out.  That is just terrible.  I posted it on several other forums to further your efforts.

Too bad the punishment if caught isn't hanging or a lynch mob like in the 'ol days!!  

Oh..and I have never visited the site..didn't know it existed.  Although I think I may have seen the name before.

No, haven't seen her. I'm so sorry for that young girl!! I heard about this on the news. I live about 1.5 hours away from Okotoks so I printed the flyer and took it to UFA and some local tack shops. I hope they find her!!

No, I haven't.  That's terrible!  There were some horse theives in my area and were caught in the act stealing horses down the road from my barn.  It was scary, because what if they hadn't been caught?  I'll definatly keep my eye out, I don't live around there, but horses can go hundreds of miles in a day.  What kind of horrible people would do such a thing, they need to be found and locked up!

That thief is just so rude.  I hate that.  I am not going to be tolerant.  I promise I will let my fellow horse lovers know.  I want to do my part.  That horse is just gorgeous and I bet the child is just crying her eyes out.  I really feel strongly.

Nope, haven't seen it, but I will star this for you as well as circulate the link among some local horse people I know (I live near Ontario).

Horse thieves scare the **** out of me.
