  1. Yes but I don't expect it to be of any real value. The agendas have been set and the slow meshing of gears are not readily halted.  I do think the public is being taken advantage of though.(sarcastic)> Why has governmental  and private institutions, all the suddenly made the their first ever leap into honesty? Maybe a generation thing... a new audience perhaps.

  2. YES, and all should, only socialist democrats who want us to remain weak and dependent would be against it

  3. No, I can't sign that and really think that nobody should.

Inpatience can get us in worse trouble than we are already in.

We know that we have a great wealth of oil and also know that we will need it in the near future.

The east is already drilling very near to the deepest that they can even now and in a few years, they will have to stop.

That is part of the reason fuel is so high from there now.

Gas prices in Arabia have gone from $0.12 per gallon 3 years ago to a record $0.98 per gallon today.

They are feeling the pinch themselves.

If we start wasting our natural reserves befpre they run out, how will we be able to use it for political leverage in those countries.

We must grin and bear it for just a little while longer and then, without any country there with the power to commit to a war, we can finally be free from the c**p we have been putting up with from there since the '70's.

From Alaska to far South America, both onshore and offshore, we have massive quantities of oil that we can access, or at least have access to, but we must protect it from waste until this is over.

  4. Yes, I signed it.  And it's not vague to anyone who is knowledgeable and keeps up with the news.

We have more oil reserves than Venezuela, Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.  It's amazing how much oil we have in this country.  The Dakotas have an estimated 200 billion barrels of clean oil, which means it's easy to refine.

Now if we could get those pesky "environmental" bans on drilling lifted we'd be doing pretty good before long.

  5. Yes, sir, I did.  Unlike some of the people in here, I'd prefer to try to lower prices on an efficient, abundant fuel we already have the infrastructure for instead of investing massive amounts of dollars on inferior technology and development that is less efficient, more expensive, and driving up the cost of every day items.

  6. Wow that has got to be the most vague petition ever.  Authorize the exploration of proven energy reserves where?  If they're proven, then they don't need to be explored, now do they?  Maybe they ment 'exploitation'.

I'm not going to sign something that purposefully vague.  For all I know they want to drill for oil under my house.

  7. That would be awesome, but our current batch of spineless politicians are more concerned about placating a bunch of enviroweenies.

  8. Yes I have.

It is amazing to me how the very same people who do not want us to utilize any of our own resources are usually the same ones that cry the loudest about the high price of gas.

  9. The price is already going down to to decreased demand. The real solution is efficiency, not a quick fix of temporary increased supply.

  10. Yes - Did you?  I signed on about 140k signatures - now over 371k signatures.

  11. YES we all should sign this. If you are worried about increasing oil prices let your voice be heard.

We have energy reserves here in america that could viably sustain our country for centuries. There is enough oil under the western slope of Colorado to supply the US for fifty years. We just havent developed the technology to extract it.
