  1. i love my ebay, it all depends on what your trying to sell clothes really dont sell to well and not having much money dont really matter b/c if you just do the average listing with a couple pics its  only like 2 dollars tops..but a catchy title and pictures is always the best way to go...so good luck

  2. Yes, I got an ugly purse for christmas one year and sold it on e-bay for $200. E-bay is easy once you get use to it but you need to catch a buyers attention, I suggest that if you are using ebay as a business you can use their business posting tool. Also, don't try to get more money than someone else with the same thing, many of times have I seen the same exact items with two totally different prices, the greedy person NEVER gets my bid! Also, to have faithful buyers you will need to be a faithful seller. Always ship someones items as soon as you receive your payment and always thank your customers for bidding on your items also, offer deals like if someone buys 3 items with you at the same time include a free gift (since you want to sell books, the free gift could be a book mark or something).

E-bay is a great way to sell, I also suggest Craig's list which is free to post whatever you want and thousands of people in your area will be able to view your ad.

  3. Selling on eBay is very simple once you get the hang of it.  Take the first steps and take the tutorials at http://pages.ebay.com/education/selling.... to learn it step by step from eBay.  After you learned, start selling little things like what the other person said from garage sales.  Get something that you know has value of more than you paid for it and then put it up there.  Do the things that you KNOW will sell first, but NOT the highest value items.

Make sure that you have a score of at least 20, if not 100 before you put up the big items.  You want to show people that you are a trustworthy seller before listing the big items.

Also, when you go to list them, use www.auctiva.com as it is free, and you can make your ads look great!  Good luck and have fun!

  4. I sell cars on ebay motors.  As far as they go I typically get sightly lass that wholesale.  I can't speak from experience what other catigories bring.

You should find out how to get the current ebay hotlist.  I found this one:

    http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/hoti...

it's outdated, but it will give you an idea what's on the list.

  5. maybe you can sell your books on your familiar forum.

i haven't sold on ebay. but once i bought cosmetics from a shopping forum. it's my first  shopping experience using internet. it's not so difficult as  what i thought.
