Have you stayed at motel formule 1 (australia)? is it ok?

need a night's accommodation, budget tight, just wondering what motel formule one is like? as long as it is decent and clean, not too fussy otherwise. thanks a lot

Alternatively, you could sign up at http://www.hotels2go.com.au/usersignup.p... and check out the great hotel deals there... some of them even include a 3 course meal for you and your travelling partner, including accommodation for under $100. Now thats value! Hope you find something good!

It's ok...but it's not fantastic value like it originally was.  I've seen prices around the $80 or $90 dollar mark.  This might be good for three people (because that's what a room can accommodate....but if you check out the accor web page you might find for ten dollars more, you can get a better location, better hotel and breakfast thrown in (I'm thinking ibis).  There are some formula one in city locations (like near kings cross) but mostly they're on arterials where you really need a car to access them.

yes, its very  good. its clean, and comfy beds. but the laundry/fridge isnt in the apartment. so as long as your not going to be spending alot of time there it is great.

label your food though, otherwise your going to get it stolen.

Its clean but very very basic.

Its pretty much one not so big room, with beds, bunks over the top to save room.

The bathroom is tiny where you can just about shower on the toilet.

Its ideal for when you only want to sleep there, nothing else.

They have breakfast packs and microwave meals available in the share kitchen.

As others have said, in some locations they arent as cheap as others, so do a little bit of homework on wotif and accomline first.

Yes, I have.  Decent, clean and cheap.

Perfect for somewhere just to sleep for the night.
