  1. i took it last school year and i am again this year and it was pretty easy to me but there is a lot of memorizing. you have to learn a lot of endings and tenses and all those grammatical things, but it helps if you want to have a job in the medical field. the difficulty kinda depends on the teacher

  2. I went to Parochial schools and had 5 years of Latin (mandatory).  I didn't find it any more difficult than any other language, but have never found it useful in "real" life ~

  3. well im from ireland and we have to learn it from i was five it comes naural after a wile u wont no ure saying it "il will come natural

  4. Latin is not hard. You can prepare yourself for your class by using the Latinum online podcast - it is free.

I would suggest learning the verb forms and declensions immediately - you can find a link on the podcast's FAQ to a memorisation system for recalling these, that will only take a few hours of hard work - usually it takes months!

  5. I started it in high school and liked it enough to major in it in college.  Although I did my graduate work in English and comparative literature, my Latin was helpful all the way.  Challenging?  Maybe, but it was the first language I studied formally, so I didn't have anything to compare it with.  The following year, when I began French, the Latin I'd already had was a help, and it continues to be helpful as I try to pick up Spanish.  Anyway, the younger you start a foreign language, the easier it usually is.
