  1. No, I've never heard of it.  Thanks for the heads up!

  2. I took the AARP 55 alive course on-line and  I am getting a 15% discount from my insurance company. It costs $15 and take as much time as you want to do the course. Its easy and informative.

  3. I don't think it was that one... it may have... but it was offered through my Geico policy and has saved me 10% on my premiums.

The Hartford, which is offered to AARP members, also allows for such Defensive Driving courses.

    Oh... I passed it with a 97%!!!!!!!

    Have a Senior Day.

  4. Didn't know there was such a thing. No I haven't, I figured next spring when my auto insurance comes up for renewal I would attend a local AARP class that they have during the year.

  5. I turned in my license in May, but my husband took his on line and yes it does save and it helps to brush up on driving.

I'm so sad, that I can't drive my car.  It's been sitting under the carport for over 5 years.

That's life but I'm still a very good back seat driver.lol!

    DeeJay.

  6. No I hadn't heard of that and thank you i will check it out.

A friend just finished a two day course at the community college to reduce his.

I think it is a good idea and shouldn't be just for seniors in my opinion.

The only education wasted is that that is not taken advantage of.

    Thanks again for the info.
